This book entitled Communication Strategies and their Linguistic Features is primaily designed as a one of the references for lecturers and researchers especially in the areas of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Second Language Acquisition (SLA).
This book comprises of 5 chapters arranged in such a way from general to more specific ones. Chapter one deals with the position and roles of communication strategies in second language acquisition. Chapter two stresses on the definitions of communication strategies and their interconnection with language learning strategies. Chapter three deals with the classificatiion of communication strategies proposed by several proponents. Chapter four reveals training communication strategies in classroom for maximum use of second language acquisition. Chapter 5 focuses on communication strategies and learning output.
